Where’s Doggy?
I recently put back the carpeting on my apartment, Doggy is now half-civilized and doesn’t pee inside anymore.
I don’t know if I ever mentioned that I’m part vampire, not like the one on the movie, I just like to enjoy the darkness of my place every now and then. Doggy sleeps most of the day and with the color of the carpet it’s really hard to spot him if he is not laying on his back and showing the little white he has, he becomes invisible, even on pics, I now enjoy (call me crazy) taking pictures of Doggy against the carpet, pics basically come up as a black thing. He seems to love the carpet, the day I put it down he immediately started to bring all of his belongings and part of mine to the carpet.
With all this carpet thing his “hunting” skills showed more than ever, when I unrolled the carpet a roach flew, basement storage needs to be fumigated, after the roach flew Doggy, I know is not much of a hunt, but he was having a blast, he killed it but didn’t eat and for the rest of the night he kept looking around for more roaches. He’s ready to go to Africa and hunt elephants, that’s the logical step tight? Roaches and then Elephants*.
He’s also getting a bath tomorrow, he stinks, I rolled on the carpet with him and I could smell the water of the fountain, rotten oranges and grass, not the scent you wanna wear to a date I guarantee, after his bath I’ll put him in a bag and take it straight home, is the only time I have to hug him and let him on the sofa for a short time.
I’ve also changed the header, I think I’ve captured Doggy’s essence.

Love the new header. Tonto is a good hunter too. He is a good fly catcher. Husband wants to buy a pet rat for Tonto to chase around all day, but I told him it wouldn’t be wise because it would only last about a minute then it would be dead. Tonto’s a fast one. Haha

Doggy would destroy my place, I have enough with him dragging his bed and blanket all over the house, give him a toy that moves and the walls would crumble lol
Hahha Yes. There would be no house left either! Rats are gross anyway. =)
We like the new header very much. We have a similar problem as Doggy in that we only photograph well in bright light. That dark fur is has its ups and downs

Why do you insist on washing us just when we get to the right smellyness?? Pfft I do not understand people with two legs!
I don’t mind the dirt, but once in awhile I wanna snuggle with Doggy and when he stinks makes it too much of a sacrifice to do it lol
Nice new header photos Doggy! So you’re getting a bath soon because you’re stinky huh? Well, since you roll around in various “substances” outside, you probably do pick up some scents that your Mom isn’t crazy about….but since I’m sure you like to snuggle with her – bathing is important! I think the only thing I smell like is “CAT” – now my little box is another matter…… hee hee

Yep. Beloved is always moaning about taking photos of black dogs! That’s why there are so many of us on the red sofa, at least we can be seen then.
I am not a hunter so I am in awe of Doggy.
We can have some big spiders in Oz and one day when I was a pup a really big one came into the house…… I have to admit to being wary. I wouldn’t say I was afraid but I went to get Beloved straight away and I was right to be wary because she shrieked and went to get her beloved who sighed and eventually got rid of it.
I only eat things that come from the kitchen, or the occasional bone found outside. The Princess of course tries all sorts of things which is why she’s ended up in hospital twice! She is drawn to the pretty colours.
