The first ten times it happened, I was annoyed. But eventually it got me thinking:

Like I said over there, no kids to compare to anybody, but I relate REALLY well to dogs, like our current Mastiff. And I’m fluent in dog, so that helps. Actually got a pack of wolves to all start howling in the middle of the day, something a couple of their rescuers said NEVER happened.
And now, if you’ll pardon me, the wife needs to take me for a walk.
My Godchild, a boy, grew up with an older sister and at your sons age, insisted on an ironing board and iron for a birthday present. He’s 11 now and the most boyish boy you’ll find. His parents reacted much like you. Just let him do what he felt like, irrespective of the “norms”. He also had long, stunning hair (truly not fair that the boys get that!!!). I don’t believe any of it makes any difference at that age. Let them play with whatever they like (well, maybe not lighters and fuel
) and they grow up to be what they truly are.
