Pictures Time
As you already know I’m suffering PVSD (post vacation stress disorder, I made that up, you’re welcome!), I recently came back from a nice getaway, I’ll feel the need to share some pics.
Let me tell you something about these pics, they were taken by the most wonderful photographer ever (me) in Tela, Honduras. Tela is a beach village, it’s not a city by any means, not the place for those travelers who like to go to malls when they travel, however, it has a really good hotel and resorts infrastructure.
Tela is located between several national parks, from where I was staying I could walk to Lancetilla, a really nice botanical garden and research center. The botanical garden is the doorway to a national park, a huge rainforest, literally 20 minutes walk from your hotel.
I went on a Monday at 8am, place was empty, I hired a guide for the botanical garden so he could tell me a bit more about all the plants, he was a local. Apparently they have this programs were they train people from the community to work at the national parks, were they get a better income and help them understand the importance of conservation. Chilo (guide’s name) didn’t have a degree in biology or anything like that, but he knew what he was talking about and was ready to answer tricky questions.
Once I was done with the tour I took a hike through the forest and enjoy the peace one can only experience in places like that. As it was getting warmer I decided to skinny deep in the river, water was really cold, icy cold, you can imagine all the manhood shrinking lol better don’t picture that.
As for the food, what can I say? Just look at the pictures and imagine how good it was.

How shitty to have to come home from such a beautiful place.
Wow looks wonderful. I take it there weren’t any weird things swimming in the river with you? lol
I love going to rain forests when I get a chance of it. We went to one in Alaska (yes Alaska). Really interesting to see the difference between that one and the ones we went to in the tropics.
They’ll help keep those memories warm. Glorious.
The panoramics are so beautiful. I wish I was there now. Sigh. We all know you posted these to remind us of our shitty lives.
Visited a rain forest in Puerto Rico many years ago…….beautiful places…….your photos are truly FABULOUS – how did you manage to leave all that behind for home??? I know – you missed Doggy right???
Pam
Oh that’s the paradise, right? I want this “foodgasm” too. I’m green with envy now ;o) btw: no worry I saw nothing what was shrinking ;o)
Not envy at all .. *smile – love your gallery. Never really been to that part of the world .. been in the South Pacific. Thanks for sharing you memories. My favorite is “just for me”
Ahhh, that was a refreshing pause. Thanks, Leo! xoxoM
Wow that looks amazing, whee just wish whee could have been somewhere as exciting as that!
Nibbles, Nutty, Buddy & Basil

You’d get lost in the rainforest and probably end up in a big snake or cat’s mouth piggies, you better off where you are treated like kings.
It brings back His memories of a year in Panama.
Panama it’s a beautiful place too, although food isn’t as good.
Fabulous! Oh the food..the beach!…the beauty…the solitude…and warm warm weather!
Thanks for sharing paradise with us, Leo.
You’re welcome Victoria, food was indeed amazing.
How beautiful:-) I’ve have PVSD after that too!
Leo, It looks like a wonderful trip. I love all the pics. That would be a hard place to leave.
I didn’t want to leave, I left because of my furry beast.
Looks awesome – eat, play and be merry, you covered all three.
Ohh yeah, and drink too
Mmmm. Fried plantains. I want all of that food int my facehole now.
I couldn’t have enough of it, sadly it’s over
A farmer saw you naked in honduras?!
Your tags on this post are by far the best, ever.
Sounds lovely! And I’m feeling hungry now after looking at all that food!
I always wanted to try rambutan. I’ve eaten lychee, which is very similar but there is supposed to be enough difference to notice it. These pictures are great, Leo!
Talk about rubbing it in..LOL I love Lychee’s I take mine are in the post
Where’s the picture of you naked????? Oh I’ve got that..Heehhaaaawwwww xx00xx Soon will be posted for everyone to see
Mollie and Alfie
It looks like a most excellent vacation Leo! The FOOD! The beach!! And you are always surprising me, how cool about the botanical garden. Sorry you had to come back home and go to w. o. r. k.
Those are beautiful pictures. I’d suffer PVSD too.
Such a beautiful place why not start your business there in paradise? I especially love the picture of the beach with I’m not sure sun rise or sunset?
Thank you for sharing the visual evidence of why you’re suffering PVSD. Now I crave crab.
Wow! It looks fantastic.
How did Doggy cope whilst you was away?
Wonderful combination of shots by a great photographer. Love the variety.
Now I wanna move there
Looks like a fabulous holiday, such great memories and the food looks really yum!
I have NVSD (no vacation stress disorder). I’m going to die if I look at these pics again (and again)!
