Pictures Time

As you already know I’m suffering PVSD (post vacation stress disorder, I made that up, you’re welcome!), I recently came back from a nice getaway, I’ll feel the need to share some pics.
Let me tell you something about these pics, they were taken by the most wonderful photographer ever (me) in Tela, Honduras. Tela is a beach village, it’s not a city by any means, not the place for those travelers who like to go to malls when they travel, however, it has a really good hotel and resorts infrastructure.
Tela is located between several national parks, from where I was staying I could walk to Lancetilla, a really nice botanical garden and research center. The botanical garden is the doorway to a national park, a huge rainforest, literally 20 minutes walk from your hotel.
I went on a Monday at 8am, place was empty, I hired a guide for the botanical garden so he could tell me a bit more about all the plants, he was a local. Apparently they have this programs were they train people from the community to work at the national parks, were they get a better income and help them understand the importance of conservation. Chilo (guide’s name) didn’t have a degree in biology or anything like that, but he knew what he was talking about and was ready to answer tricky questions.
Once I was done with the tour I took a hike through the forest and enjoy the peace one can only experience in places like that. As it was getting warmer I decided to skinny deep in the river, water was really cold, icy cold, you can imagine all the manhood shrinking lol better don’t picture that.
As for the food, what can I say? Just look at the pictures and imagine how good it was.
