Gin, cardamom, ginger and peach.
You should give it a try!
That looks divine. So do you add actual cardamom or just cardamom flavored stuff? Don’t tease, recipe please.
I rarely give out full recipes without killing the person, but because you are special I’ll give it you.
You need fresh ginger, actual cardamom and ripe peach.
You put the ice on the glass, “smash” the cardamom (2-3 thingys) with your hand, to release the flavor. Cut strips of ginger, as finely as you can, throw it in the glass, cut the peach and throw it in the glass. Here’s a personal touch, add a bit of simple syrup, a teaspoon, then add the gin and let it sit for a minute, add the tonic water with long spoon, to “break” the bubbles. Then gently move it ice with the spoon to mix the simple syrup and enjoy your drink.
I promise it is heaven.
You are my new favorite person on earth, Leo. Bless you forever.
Perfect summer drink for Under the Oaks!
Today we pay homage to the margueritas :o) But it looks great!!!
No gin…not since collage. 🙂
Gee…..that DOES look (and sound) quite yummy!
Pour me one darlin’.
And does that go with sparkling water/soda? Sweet husband doesn’t like peaches (can you believe?), so maybe raspberries for him? xoM
Good question Margarita, you use tonic water, if you get a ginger cardamom infused even better. Raspberries would do it, I was actually going to use raspberries but their were 5 euros the container of 10 (not ten but too few for post much)
I do love my gin and tonic and I usually have it with lime, but I’m willing to be adventurous and add ginger, cardamom and raspberries, because I do love my sweet husband!😉 I’ll let you know how that goes! xoxoM
I haven’t seen The Help drool often!
Sorry, today it’s mint juleps because it’s the first Saturday of May and Derby Day.
I can use a kick. Looks really yummy, thank you! Must reblog to Heart, is that okay?
I like gin … , but … I’m not to sure about the fresh ginger root.
It gives it a kick, I really like it. There’s a cocktail called Bomb Collins, it has sage too, delicious.
But which gin do you use?
For this one I used The London N1 but Tanqueray 10 also works.
